Maintain momentum across sequenced external approvals, evidence packages, software fixes, attestations, security findings, and operator-specific criteria—without losing sight of the true critical path.

Context

A high-performance cable modem required industry certification, security validation, operator-specific acceptance, issue closure, and production readiness.

My role

Drove the integrated certification and commercialization plan across the ODM, chipset and engineering teams, third-party labs, security partners, and broadband operators.

Leadership approach

Maintained a dependency view, separated critical-path blockers from lower-priority issues, drove accountable owners and closure dates, and kept executives informed of risk and mitigation options.

Commercialization

Managed CableLabs and Kyrio work, acceptance with Comcast, Charter, and Cox, manufacturing controls, software closure, configuration readiness, and the path toward commercial approval.

Impact

Improved alignment across the certification ecosystem, drove closure of key approval items, and sustained momentum through a technically and organizationally complex path to market.
